After establishing itself as one of the country’s premier luxury lifestyle resorts in Boracay, The Lind Hotels is entering a new phase of growth with the development of new properties in Coron and Siargao, marking its transformation from a single-property brand into a curated multi-island portfolio.

The expansion comes as demand for premium leisure destinations in the Philippines continues to strengthen, with the independent Filipino hospitality brand betting on destinations that offer long-term tourism potential while still having limited high-end accommodation.

Leading the expansion is The Lind Coron, scheduled to open in 2027. Located on a secluded peninsula, the resort will offer a more intimate, villa-led experience distinct from the vibrant beachfront atmosphere of The Lind Boracay. Planned amenities include multiple restaurants, a dive center, wellness facilities, and a range of recreational experiences designed for travelers seeking privacy and nature-driven luxury.

Following Coron, the company is also moving ahead with The Lind Siargao, which will establish the brand’s presence in one of the country’s fastest-growing island destinations. While Siargao has become a global favorite among surfers and lifestyle travelers, the island remains underserved in the premium hospitality segment—a gap The Lind aims to fill through its guest-focused lifestyle concept.

According to Pierre Henrichs, Chief Operating Officer of The Lind Hotels, the company deliberately chose to remain an independent Filipino brand to preserve its flexibility and identity.

“We chose to remain independent because it allows us to move quickly, adapt, and build something that truly reflects who we are. We are not trying to grow everywhere at once. We want to do it properly, step by step,” Henrichs told The Philippine STAR.

Henrichs also emphasized that the company’s expansion is driven by maintaining the same guest experience that established The Lind Boracay’s reputation.

“We’ve built something in Boracay that people connect with. As we expand into Coron and Siargao, the priority is to keep that same spirit—independent, adaptable, and always shaped around the guest,” Henrichs told The Philippine STAR.

The Lind Boracay has become one of the country’s most recognized luxury resorts, earning distinction as Boracay’s first hotel to be included in the MICHELIN Guide, further strengthening the brand’s position in the premium hospitality market.

For the Philippine hospitality industry, the expansion represents more than the opening of new resorts. It reflects the growing confidence of homegrown luxury hotel brands in competing alongside international operators, while capitalizing on the continued rise of experiential and high-value leisure travel across the country’s leading island destinations.

As The Lind extends its footprint from Boracay to Coron—and soon to Siargao—the brand is making a clear statement: Filipino hospitality brands are no longer content with operating a single flagship property. They are building destination portfolios designed to showcase the best of the Philippines while competing on the global luxury travel stage.
